The ENERGY STAR program has become an international standard to help consumers save energy and money through the purchase of energy efficient products.

The international ENERGY STAR® symbol is a simple way for consumers to identify products that are among the most energy efficient on the market. Only manufacturers and retailers whose products meet the ENERGY STAR® criteria can label their products with this symbol. Choosing an ENERGY STAR® labeled product over a conventional model could save you hundreds of dollars in energy costs.

In order to ensure that you are purchasing the right thermally efficient product in Canada, the product must meet one of the two requirements listed below (Energy Star Canada):

Requirement 1: (U-value)

Requirement 2: (ER-value)

TruBilt products are listed under North Star Windows and Doors 7000 Door Series.

ENERGY STAR® United States

To order ENERGY STAR® certified products in the United States, you must be aware of your zone. The United States is divided into four zones to accommodate the ranging climate of the country: Northern, North/Central, South/Central, and Southern.

Once you’ve determined your zone, you can choose the best ENERGY STAR® approved options available for your region. In order to maximize energy savings, consider installing doors suited for a region colder than yours.
